Car Undercoats
The primer or undercoat is an essential component of any coating system. The most basic benefit is excellent adhesion to the substrate that is being coated. Different substrates require different types of undercoats to ensure that the coating system will not delaminate. Corrosion resistance is enhanced by using the most appropriate undercoat for the service conditions under which the coating system will operate.
