Description

With a Hulk Earth Anchor Tree Guy Kit and a Hulk Smasher Rod you have everything you need to professionally secure a newly planted tree. The Tree Guy Kit is a complete tree anchoring solution which includes three pre-assembled guy anchors consisting of:

• Hulk Earth Anchors
• Wire Rope
• Turnbuckles
• Rope Grips
• Tree Collars

This pre-packaged solution allows for installations that provide a buying system with a holding capacity and neatness of appearance far superior to stakes. Installation instructions are included in every kit and can be easily carried out without the need of trained labour.

Application

Hulk Earth Anchors are installed in 3 simple steps:

1. The Hulk Earth Anchor is driven into the ground with a re-useable Hulk Smasher Rod. This driving process can be done with a hand held hammer or commercially available powered hammering equipment.
2. Once the HULK Earth Anchor is driven to the required depth remove the Hulk Smasher Rod.
3. An upward pull on the anchor tendon rotates the Hulk Earth Anchor head locking it into position

Each of the three pre-assembled guy anchors are installed equally spaced around the tree. The loose end of the wire rope is placed around the tree stem using the tree collar for added protection. The system is secured with the included wire rope grips. For trees with a stem diameter larger than 75mm, the kit includes a turnbuckle to bring the guy into tension in order to prevent unwanted movement.
