Heavy Duty Machine Wash

Requirements:

The scope called for a protective coating system to provide chemical resistance with outstanding gloss.

Solution:

Lacnam Paints was selected as the paint manufacturer of choice due to its strong background in industrial applications and ease of use.

The steel was blasted to SP 5 / NACE No.2 near white blast. It was prime coated with Lacnam 285 ST Epoxy – a high build polyamide epoxy with good solvent and chemical resistance that can be colour coded to improve top coat coverage.

The topcoat selected was Lacnam 540 Polyurethane – an acrylic modified urethane coating that provides excellent gloss, colour retention and durability.
